The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is the product of an exercise philosophy known as Functional Movement Systems.
This exercise philosophy and corresponding set of resources is based on sound science, years of innovation, and current research.
Put simply, the FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness.
The FMS generates the Functional Movement Screen Score, which is used to target problems and track progress. This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial corrective exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns.
Exercise professionals monitor the FMS score to track progress and to identify those exercises that will be most effective to restore proper movement and build strength in each individual.
For a long time this method is used by many professional teams of American football and hockey and in recent years has landed in Europe, particularly in the top football teams proving to be an exceptional tool for any performance model.

From the initial interview and the evaluation of the form and quality of basic motor patterns of the subject I am going to create a program tailored to achieve the desired result, that is good to say, it will be realistic and in line with the capabilities of the client.
The difficulty of my job is to understand how to identify and quantify the stimuli (exercises) in the right way so that we can reach the goal as quickly and safely as possible.
I will be satisfied only if I am able to make an impact in people’s lives, influence them positively, putting them in ideal conditions to realize their physical potential, in a word, if I make them better.
I prefer to refer to classes talking about Group Personal Training. In this way, I want to emphasize the aspect of “personal” lessons: keep the quality of a one to one but to extend this concept to the group. A group which in any case I want to keep small, maximum 8-10 people.
The lessons will be diversified to meet the needs of groups with similar goals, or they could have a definite direction (Primal Move, Bootcamp, etc..) .
In general I like to set them according to the methodology for me more effective in a group setting: the work -loop preferably using the body as the main tool . Other tools such as free weights, kettle-bells, rubber bands or other may be used to further modify the lesson and respond to specific needs. Other elements: basic movements, quality of the execution, intensity and duration in line with the objective of the lesson, customization possibilities.
This service is dedicated to the sportsman who wants to improve his performance. Evaluating the physiological model of the sport and the physical characteristics of the individual I am going to structure the training plan that can have a duration ranging from 3 months to 1 year.
In many sports I still see that people are afraid to approach the world of weights. Influenced by false myths, they think that weight training is not only useless for their sport but also a threat to their physical integrity. “I don’t do weights because they make me slow” ” No, but I do not want to get big” ” Weights are bad for my back” and so on.. How many times have I heard these phrases? In reality this is not true. Or rather, it depends on how you do it and what you do.
I will explain to you how to train to become stronger, faster, more powerful and more durable. In the field, you’ll see the difference! Do not believe me? Call to schedule a free trial.
I take care of the last part of the path to recovery from an injury. That phase in which the subject is clinically healed but not yet ready to return to sports and competition. While in the past the return to the sport coincided with the end of the rehabilitation, it is now understood the importance of planning and executing this period obtaining the full recovery of conditional capacities and sport-specific skills before unconditional return to the sport practiced by the subject. All this in close collaboration with the physical therapist and/or the team of professionals who cared for the rehabilitation.

Judo is the most widely practiced martial art in the world and was first admitted to the Olympics (Tokyo, 1964). So not only a sport, but it is above all a philosophy of life, a method of education enjoyed and recommended by all physicians (pediatricians in particular). It teaches respect for opponents and the best use of the physical and mental strength as well as the mutual prosperity that is ideal for the growth and improvement of the entire group of practitioners who between them support and help.
I am a teacher, 3rd dan black belt, as an athlete I have had good results at the Italian national level. The teaching of judo is suitable for all ages, can be practiced with different purposes, not only competitive, from defense to personal amateur activity to keep in shape.
